The Water Horse for Life

"Nellie, love....while you look so proper and attractive in your traveling cloak from Miss Tomobola's collection, and really dear...thank you for wearing the family tartan...I think we need to work on your delivery. Captain Margulis is not going to be happy if you bully the Lindens out of the residents of Caledon as you do your part for the Relay For Life."
coached the Duchess of Loch Avie.

Aha! Going back to the Memory Vault for this one. That's the the BULLSH*T OR NOT sequence from AMAZON WOMEN ON THE MOOn (1987). BS or not was a Ripley's Believe It Or Not parody that’s almost funny, with the always underappreciated Henry Silva giving a merciless thrashing to Jack Palance’s onscreen persona. In this segment the show as positing the Loch Ness Monster as the REAL culprit behind the Whitechapel killings..

Mostly a pretty bleak movie, despite the stellar cast of comedians and character actors, and top notch directors too. A pity!

Oh my!! I've been wondering from where this clip originated. Based on your information, I found a 2+ minute segment of the film on YouTube.
Here's the link

Thanks!

This, ladies and gentlemen, is an example of why I love SL.

Despite this being an instance of "South Park" humour filtered through faux Victoriana filtered through "IN SEARCH OF ...", it is still 100 per cent spot-on in context for life in Caledon.

Now, if you will excuse me, I must go put together a hat, ascot, cloak, and large tartan blanket for Nellie.

Nellie is going to be so thrilled, Boyarinya. I just received several bolts of the Bellambi tartan from Inverness this week. Do let me know what you will need.

Slainte!
