Happy Easter to all my Christian readers.
Surrexit Christus hodie. Alleluia!
Humano pro solamine. Alleluia!
In hoc Paschali gaudio. Alleluia!
Benedicamus Domino. Alleluia!
Mortem qui passus pridie. Alleuia!
Miserrimo pro homine. Alleuia!
Laudetur sancta Trinitas. Alleluia!
Deo dicamus gratias. Alleluia!

I would remind Her Grace that, for her readers who follow the Eastern calendar, Easter/Pascha won't arrive until April 27 this year.
Calculating the date of Easter has a long, convoluted, and interesting history -- one worthy of a mini-series, perhaps, à la Longitude.
So, for the Western Faithful, "Christus resurrexit! Resurrexit vere!"
Aren't we lucky that, if we are so inclined, we can celebrate Easter twice this year!
Scimus Christum surrexisse a mortuis vere: tu nobis, victor Rex, miserere.
