Another busy RL weekend (tis the season) kept me away from most of the SL activities offered. Not that RL is a bad thing, but I did hate to miss the majority of the Caledon Winterfell Ball (I made it into the sim after several minutes of "Sim is Full" warnings as I tried in vain to teleport or cross borders). I was able to say hello to most people during the first couple of dances in the Keep, but the sim soon crashed. I decided that RL was not going to permit me to go back in for long anyway, so I decided to stay out of world, although I understand that the move to Cape Wrath worked nicely and that a good time was had by all.
Lady Kate informed me that while she was in attendance each sim's name was called out and founders and residents cheered as appropriate. I will add my Caledon connections here:
Caledon Tamrannoch - former resident
Caledon On Sea - former resident
Caledon Loch Avie - Resident
Sunday found me at home with a sick child in RL and the after-effects of an ice storm....we were without power for much of the afternoon and evening, and well into the night. As one might imagine, I am typing furiously now, trying to beat the next power outage or fluctuation.
I was in world Friday night, though, and thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Steelhead Around the World in 80 Days Themed dance.
Here I am in metallic red hair and Chinese Costume dancing with Drop Bear, Edward Pearse, and the lovely Christine McAllister in Middle Eastern wear
